WAIKIKI MUSIC NIGHT - I VISITED A FEW HOTELS & BARS
FRIDAY 4/28/17
5:30 PM - MEET & GREET PARTY
IT RAINED "HARD" SO, WE HAD TO MOVE FROM THE NICE PATIO AREA
WITH TOUCHES TO
AN INTERIOR BALLROOM. IT WAS GREAT TO SEE EVERYBODY.
THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTY!!!
We're starting with a few platters of "Welcome Nibbles" (Wok Fried Edamame etc.)
Our main courses will be BBQ - KALBI (boneless short ribs)
and Backyard Style CHICKEN Potato/Mac Salad, Rice, and some Korean Side dishes.

I looked and looked and NEVER found the SPAM BEER!
I did taste SPAM flavored MAC NUTS!!! Get them at LONGS...

at NOON then LUNCH @ ALOHA TOWER!

LEI DAY @ KAPIOLANI PARK
10AM - 4 PM
I ARRIVED EARLY!
They said it would start at 10 AM....
but it started at 9AM...
Everybody missed the opeing with the Royal Hawaiian Band. The place was standing room
only by 10:30 AM.
I was in the STEEL GUITAR TENT!
Great steel performers all-day! The tent was packed!
Too many leis to photogrpah.
